Dr Venkata Ramana Gedela

Biography :

He has obtained PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Hyderabad. He is master graduate in physics and master of technology in Nanoscience and Technology. He is the recipient of the prestigious CSIR (India) senior research fellowship to carry out his PhD thesis work. His PhD work involves development of various carbon nanomaterials/conducting polymer composites for Energy and gas sensing applications. As a post doc fellow in Institute of Nanoscience and Technology (INST), he had pursued cutting edge research on fabrication of nanostructured devices for Energy applications. He is also an expert on synthesis of Graphene and CNT by CVD methods and various characterization techniques to explore different kinds of characteristics of carbon nanomaterials and nanocomposites.  Under his guidance Nanospan has filed 10 patents.  He has published 20 research articles in international journals and attended/ presented his research work in 40 international and national conferences.  His dream is to see the 2D nanomaterial innovations beyond the research labs into day to day life.
